 Beginner, Novice and Primary awards will be awarded at the end of the morning events.

 

INTERMEDIATE & PREMIER EVENTS   Registration at 12:30pm   Dancing begins promptly at 1:00 pm

INTERMEDIATE:  Sailor’s Hornpipe  4,  Highland Fling  6,  Sword Dance  3&1,  SeannTriubhas  4&2,  Hielan’ Laddie  4

 

PREMIER:  Irish Jig  3&1,  Highland Fling  6,  Sword Dance  3&1,  Seann Triubhas  4&2,  Hieland Laddie  4

 Intermediate and Premier awards will be presented at the end of competition.

DANCING AWARDS:  Medals will be awarded in the Primary.  Medals  & trophies will be awarded in all other Pre-Premier divisions, plus a Most Promising Pre-Premier trophy.  Cash prizes will be awarded in open age groups plus a Dance of the Day Trophy.  Cash Prizes are as follows:

First Age Group, 1st Place .. $30.00;  First Age Group, 2nd Place .. $15.00;  First Age Group,  3rd Place .. $10.00

Second Age Group, 1st Place .. $40.00;  Second Age Group, 2nd Place .. $30.00;  Second Age Group, 3rd Place .. $15.00

Third Age Group, 1st Place .. $50.00;  Third Age Group, 2nd Place .. $40.00;  Third Age Group, 3rd Place .. $25.00

 DANCE OF THE DAY

Special Sword .. 2&1 Winner .. $50.00;  1st Runner-up .. $35.00;  2nd Runner-up .. $25.00 

FEES:  Before Sept. 1, 2010 :  Primary $15.00; Pre-premier $20.00;, Premier $25.00

 After Sept. 1, 2010:  Primary $20.00; Pre-premier $25.00; Premier $30.00

 Checks must be payable to Dandridge Scots-Irish Festival

 DEADLINE:  You are strongly urged to submit your entry with fee prior to Sept. 1, 2010.  No field entries will be accepted.

 HIGHLAND DANCE RULES & REGULATIONS:  SOBHD rules will govern all events.  The decisions of the judges are final.  All dancers must report when called or be disqualified from competition.  All dancers must be in appropriate costume to compete and to receive awards.  Order of competition will be determined by the date of receipt of entry forms: the first received will dance last, and vice-versa.

 2010 Registration Cards must be shown.
