 Great News!  BBC Ireland will be taping our festival and doing interviews for a show to be produced later.  We'll post more info as available but here is the website to see when and where the show will air once it is produced.  

Dandridge Scots-Irish Festival Received word today (8/27/2010) that BBC Northern Ireland is taping for their radio show called "A Kist o Wurds" at this year's Festival. Trip Rogers from Thistledown Tinkers will be one of the roving reporters, conducting interviews and collecting music and stories for the folks in Ireland.

The BBC/Ireland comes to Dandridge working on a documentary about Scots-Irish music evolution in the Appalachians.
They were referred by the Thistledown Tinkers who have played at our Scots-Irish Festival the last three years.
