This is a chance to have some fun and help Noah's Arc, our local no-kill animal shelter.
At 4:00 P.M. all dogs and owners are invited to participate in a fun Dog Show at the Lowland Stage area where you can enter categories such as Best Trick or Stunt (pretty much anything goes here - the bar is not too high), or Athletics (catch frisbies, chase a ball, jumps) and other fun categories that we may think up. While awards will be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places in each category, this is a competition 'For Fun Only, Not even sanctioned by anybody or any dog organization'.
After the "competition" there will be a Parade down Main Street, so the dogs can strut their stuff. Your dogs can march in the parade whether or not they compete in the competitions.
We are asking for a donation of a bag or can of dog food that will assist Noah's Arc as an "entry fee" for the Parade and Dog Show. A $3.00 (or larger) cash donation to Noah's Arc can be made in place of food.
Registrations begin at the Lowland Stage at 3:00 P.M.
